I also have never seen any "affect" from RegKeys 1-4. My MS Notepad always stays the same size that I set it for. I suggest we just eliminate these 4 keys and the warning message.

My virtual store has what looks like settings for some programs such as Belarc, AtomTime, and others.

It also breaks "Sticky Password" extension. And I get a bit tired of having to retest and then fix things because "we" decide to try removing a file that was proven earlier to cause problems on removal. Just because "other programs" remove it does not mean that "other programs" are correct in removing it. They too can/will create problems because they did not test all possible extensions. Even though Store may "improve", it does not mean that the other extensions "improved" accordingly. Leaving container.dat alone is my preference.

JFI and to let others know that our CCleaner with Winapp2.ini works fine in the impending October update: I updated my ASUS homebuilt gaming computer and my Dell XPS 15 2in1 laptop/tablet to Windows 10x64 Pro OS Build 17763.1 Version 1809. The Dell update went almost seemlessly. The gaming computer had to have the nvidia driver, Sound Blaster Z driver, Norton Security, removed and re-installed to work properly. Overall I am very pleased with the update and the speed at which it installed. Just thought you might be interested

My recollection of this debate several years back was that we would not remove backup files for security programs and registry cleaning programs. I believe Robert arbitrated the debate and made the final decision on what would not be removed.

I have 4 different computers all using Chrome and also Edge on Windows 10x64 Pro Build 17134.286. ALL 4 experience the same failures on Edge and Chrome with this new Winapp2.ini.

Plus we are now damaging Chrome Extension when running this new Winapp2.ini

OOPPS! One of the most recent changes to MS Edge is removing the Favorites in the Favorites Bar We had this problem once before when we started including some of the Edge files.

You may wish to include removal of the *.chk files and other V01*.log files for Edge as well
