I am seeing this continuous HDD activity when Speccy 89 is open on both my Windows 7 x86 Pro and Windows7 x64 Pro systems. This is even after Speccy displays the HDD stats.

Confirmed as working properly on Windows 7 x86 for the ATI 4850 vid card. Also properly detecting mulitiple monitors.

Yes, both of these gadgets work very well on Windows 7 x64. Have been using them for months.

On my Windows 7 x86 Professional with dual Western Digital Raptors in non-Raid configuration, no speed is shown at all. Plus it shows the exact same info including serial number for both Raptors, except for the temperatures. On Windows 7 systems, it would be nice if CCleaner would automatically remove the .lnk files in the Quick Launch folder under C:\Users\AcctName\AppData\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch...being careful not to remove or clean subfolder "User Pinned" in folder Quick Launch. Many third party application installers automatically add links into the Quick Launch folder which is no longer used in Windows 7.

On Windows 7 x86 Professional, Speccy V1.0.0.66 Beta, ATI Radeon 4350 from XFX Force. Speccy is not able to analyze the graphics card.

Very nice utility program. Have it installed on a Windows 7 x64 Pro and also a Windows 7 x86 Pro system. On the Windows 7 x86 Professional system, it cannot analyze my ATI Radeon 4350 graphics card from XFX Force. It just sets there trying to analyze this specific piece of hardware. On the Windows 7 x64 Professional system, it does not detect my second monitor (already posted by others).

On Vista SP2 RTM x64 Business, CCleaner does not show the files that are in C:\Windows\System32\Config folder so that a specific file can be included in the Options>Include cleaning of CCleaner. Oddly, it does show files that are in subfolders within folder Config. jv16 Powertools registry cleaner stores some large backup files in the Config folder during its Registry compacting. These are such as components.bak_jv16pt, software.bak_jv16pt, and system.bak_jv16pt. I would like to clean the backup files via CCleaner on 64-bit.

Another option is to install the Norton UAC which works great on Vista 32bit and Vista 64bit. It has a "remember" feature that really improves the user friendliness of UAC. I've been using it for several months with absolutely no problems. http://www.nortonlabs.com/inthelab/uac.php
