It's not a bother Martin, it's annoying when you lose something you need.
As JD said when you do an issues scan you are offered the choice of making a backup, with the cleaner you don't. A check of it before you clean would allow you to untick an item.

Please show where on your computer the perfect disc logs are kept.
Until you say where, Twisted Metal cannot do anything about cleaning them. When you have the logs on your screen, look at the address bar and it will show the information that is needed.
As Twisted said it should show something like this -
C\Programs files\Perfect Disc 8
Copy it exactly.

A good article here on the vista firewall, which can monitor incoming and outgoing traffic, but outgoing is switched off by default!

Try my computer > tools > folder options >file types > scroll down to MP3 and try change to see if default is listed.

Uninstall CCleaner, install the visual runtimes and then install CCleaner. Re-boot inbetween

From panda software, this online scanner took under 1 minute to scan my computer. Couldn't do it in opera had to use IE.

ive just installed Avast... but are you sure these apps... work with Vista as i tryed installing AVG Anti-Spyware and it came up some kind of error.
Avg anti-spyware is not yet compatable with vista.

Hello Mike,
DAF is is well known recommended program, and the "permissions" problem is one that it is particularly recommended for.
You may have to accept the suggestion that other problems were on your system as well.
May I suggest that you go here
and scroll down to the System Restore section and post there. I have no doubt they will be able to mend system restore, it's what they do.
Let us know how you get on please.

You say you have problems using it on a spanish computer, do you also use it without problems on another computer where English is the language?
