  1. If you have system restore turned on, that can gooble up space....just a thought

Vista especially eats up a lot of space with system restore.

Andavari's idea of some kind of logs slowly eating the space sounds logical.

How do you connect to the internet, does it keep logs anywhere, or perhaps firewall logs?

You could have a look at your program files in c drive and when you hover curser over the folder see if the amount shown is way out of line. Some software has been know to just grow with info it doesn't or shouldn't need to save.

  2. Could you just give a bit more information balloonatic. :)

    Are you XP or Vista?

Are you saying you have the 1.41 version, if so where did you download it from?

Are you saying that when you open CCleaner and do analyse and then the run cleaner button there is some left over that isn't cleaned?

Are you able to show a screenshot of what's left to help us try to solve your problem?

  3. Just a bit of info here

If a statue of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air the person has died in battle.

If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle.

If the horse has all four legs on the ground the person has died on natural causes.

If the horse has all four legs in the air the statue has fallen over.

  4. Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Having just had a quick look at what exactly it does according to their site....

To use VocALign you need to select a segment of audio to use as the guide from one track and one or more channels of Dub audio from other tracks. The Guide and Dub audio may also come from different positions the editors timeline. The resulting Aligned audio must then be placed into a target track at a position calculated by VocALign so that it is aligned in time with the Guide audio. Nether the VST, Audio Unit or Direct X interfaces allow a plug-in to be created that can work this way.

I take it you must have had a try at the demo and liked it.

Lets hope there are some members here who may have some ideas to help you.

  5. It would be helpful if you perhaps posted a screenshot of the files while in CCleaner window.

Are these files one you have had a long time?

Is this an issues clean or a "normal" clean?

    XP or Vista?

  6. Just wondering if anyone else has these in "issues to delete" after the windows updates.

Noticed there are 2 KB items, which are microsoft updates.

Could be they are just being uninstalled on microsoft's say so after the net framework security update.

  7. When you say you read the guide, did you try windows selective startup?

I think you may have misread what Firery asked, open CCleaner, click tools, CLICK STARTUP so it shows what loads when you start your computer and post that list.

  8. Just read this on a blog somewhere

During the installation, AVS also checks if you have another anti-virus software that could cause conflicts and gives the option to uninstall it. Without uninstalling other detected anti-virus software you cannot install Active Virus Shield.

Not sure if it will help you .

    EDIT...

    you are not alone

  9. At 500 posts you become a power member, you only have to look at some of the posters post count's to confirm this.

Also then you can change your custom member title under your avatar as I have just done now

  10. AS far as I can remember craig once you have posted 50 times you cease being a newbie and become advanced.

After 500 posts you become a power member.

Cannot for the life in me remember the next bit!! I'm sure someone else will though :)
