  1. Who cares? SoulSeek is far better.
  2. Thanks, I'll give it a go later.
  3. I just updated it, more stable for sure, and is also a little bit quicker at loading up. I founf I had real probs when opening up a document via OO beta 2 when the pc had just been switched on, but afterwards it would load up normal. Now its the same, but a little faster which I really appreciate, and hopefully the final version will be as quick to open up as MS. The only things I think so far that let it down to MS (though I still way prefer OO) are: Quite slow to load first time. Seems the programns minus Writer take some time getting used to layout wise rather than MS, though that maybe because I've been brought up on MS all my life, and this is relatively new to me. Good things are: You can save and load in such a way sofiles can be opened up as MS! Crashers far less frequently to MS (seriously does). More options. Better User Interface. And more.....
  4. I'll update in the future.... Though what differences are there compared to the 2.0 beta (which you can't downlaod any more), and the 2.0 RC? And what does RC mean, it still is a beta, isn't it?
  5. Looking forward to it, when this gets released I'm gonna do a huge cleanup on my pc.
  6. I don't think you can get an update on a stable version to switch you over to a beta version....
  7. I wonder if anyone here has donated and recieves the updates vie email before they are on the net?
  8. Right. Well, yes, Firefox is better, in some ways. Faster, but I've just discovered I've got to installl a load of plug-ins all over again, which I am not up for doing, so I'm just gonna use it for when I need to do downloads.
  9. Oh, and somebody mentioned about all the extensions, I have to admit, it is annoying that there are som damn many, I'm gonna test FireFox as much as I can tonight and see if it does need any.
  10. I haven't downloaded this yet, I'm just getting used to Firefox, but frim reading this conversation it does appear that Firefox is much more user friendly, what exactly does Opera have that Firefoz hasnt, and vice versa.
  11. Hmm, well it does appear to be quicker, but, you can't get the ebay toolbar installed onto it, which is annoying, or I'd let my whole family use it (we all use the same user as my parents may need to quickly hop onto the pc withough switiching users). So currently, I use Firefox for the majority of what I do (especially downloading - its much quicker), but the rest of my family use IE.
  12. As far as I know, Firefox is meant to be the best? I'm just downloading it to see in my view if it is that much better than Internet Explorer.
  13. Not true, unfortuantly. Everything apart from Registry. How come eg First aid (which is completely safe, me and friends have used it for yonks) come up with stuff after I run for the Scan For Issues button on CCleaner?
  14. Yes, Reg First Aid is fine, just make sure you only delete all the ones automatically selected.
  15. I downloaded it, followed the instructions from softpedia, still don't work...
  16. I know it seems strange, but it shouldn't delete stuff it some programs use it.
  17. It does, but when it deletes them, it creates problems, at least stuff concerning Backweb.....
  18. And what exactly does that do? And where do I get it? And I'm not sure, according to Manginx "my UXTheme patch killed my comp". Doesn't sound good......!
  19. Like what? Microsoft? Got. Spybot? Ruons PC's, unlike Ad-Aware. You guys dwell on the past, look to the future.....
  20. Shame I can't use this, downloaded it, installed it, went to themes, and when you select it the preview is all black with a glimpse of the theme. Any help?
