Eventually, if none of the free decent antivirus's work, then yes. Its been ordered, and if I don't find a programn that works before then I will use it, if I do then I'll refund it.

I tried Avast again, same problems as before, Page Would Not Be Displayed, and failed to update. I am currently on tesco broadband.

No, I phoned up the compay, I am clean, all services deleted amongst others, the undeletable files are comppresed so they're almost not there. I did post a HijackThis log up, but there were no problems in that, so I don't know what to do. From what I have seen Etrust/AVG Free/Avast are the only one's with a real scanner, and I only want anti-virus programns that have real-scanners. I might, just might try Avast again, but I'm not sure.

I've never had Norton before, I had F-Secure that came with my internet connection. there are still remanants left on my PC that I can't get rid of, they are copyright protected, even in safe mode they won't be deleted. Etrust/AVG Free - Wouldn't update, said internet wasn't connected even though it was, stange considering that all my other updates work. Avast - Wouldn't even load up my page properly, said my pages could not be displayed.

Right, Etrust/AVG Free/Avast won't work 100% well on my PC. I have ordered Noton Suite 2006, but in the meantime I would like to find another antivirus that i can rely on, because if I can, that means I can refund Norton. I am currently using Sygate Personal firewall, which works brilliantly. What free programns are there left out there, that real scan (i.e scan what you are looking at/downloading), and system scan? I have been looking at AntiVir, whats that like? Any others?

My friend tells me of Microsoft Front page, where you create what you want just by normal typing and moving pictures around (how the hell would you do links to one page from another?), and then it converts all the stuff you've done into HTML, which you can then host. Is there a good, free programn out there that does the same? I don't want just somehting like Notepad where you just write out everything in HTML and then save as an HTML document, I mean an actual converter, if there is one? Also, what good free hosters are there out there?

It was to do with Backweb, but I did have an iffy internet secuity suite. Though my friend says his brings up negative issues as well, so I'd rather not run the risk. I think I'll get Spyware blaster, is CWShredder really needed?

You were right about the first, but still need help on auto format, please? Also, how do you make it so in the footer, that there is page numbering, if you type Page Number: 1 in the footer, all the other pages end up as 1 as well. Help?

Spyware Blaster 3.4 doesn't work. How good is Spyware Blaster 3.4, I have all the others there minus Spybot as it screwed up my PC last time, and isn't CWShredder just a permanent deleter? I've never seen the point of those...

I'm not up for having loads of different programns on my PC for the same thing. I'll sitck with what I got...

I've got it, and I must say that I love it. However, just have two questions: Where is the equivalent to Microsoft Office's Page Properties in which you can change all the margin settings and aditional bits? How can you get rid of the autoformating annoyance of when you type 1) and some text - press enter - and then 2) automatically comes up indented? I really don't want this. Cheers.

Yes Turan, will do as you say. Excuse me oli, it is a wallpaper, right-click on it, Set As Background. My next one will be a graffiti Sin City logo centralized on a black screen, which should be nice, picture was taken form the internet but its from a dead link, so there is no copyright issue there.

I spoke to someone and they said the same, said startup is slower as is accessing the programn, says I should try it out and then stick another 256 RAM inside of it if I do find it much slower, he says I don't need to do anything with my processor, just RAM. Norton is the best there is no doubt, just use up lots of the system recources from what I can tell.

I am thinking of getting buying Norton Internet Security 2006, though apparently it is quite bloated with all the different things it installs (i.e Norton AntiVirus, Norton ? Personal Firewall, Norton? Privacy Control, Norton AntiSpam? and Norton? Parental Control, do you think this Norton Internet Security 2006 will make my PC slower with my following bits, or do I need to update my system: 256 RAM 1.6 GZ Processor 38.2 gigabyte harddrive 512 Kbps speed internet connection
