  5. Hi, Whilst we're confident CCleaner wouldn't cause such a problem. We're always happy to look into issues. Can you please provide more detailed information on exactly what files it tried to replace, and under which cleaning process it did this.   6. Hi all, We've had some false positive virus reports for Recuva and Defraggler from AVG. It's falsely detecting the uninstaller as a Downloader.Zlob.UAQ virus. We're trying to contact AVG to resolve this issue. Thanks for understanding MrG

  9. This new build of Recuva adds secure deletion for files, which can be used to prevent files from being recovered in the future. Whilst this does not help recover the files (the aim of the program), it was one of the most requested features. Recuva v1.10.223 Added Secure Deletion option (Win2k and newer).   15. The new year brings a new release of CCleaner which adds performance and usability improvements. This includes a tray icon to show when CC is cleaning in the background, and status text that displays what it's currently cleaning. This only displays during slow processes (e.g. secure deletion of a large file). Plus the usual speed tweaks and bug fixes! CCleaner v2.04.543 Added system tray icon when background cleaning.
