Automatic cleaning of registry Issues

It sounds alright, however there are instances where it's best to know exactly what Issues is going to remove. For one Issues isn't only a registry cleaner - it cleans shortcuts, etc., and I've witnessed in the past where CC's Issues scanner wants to remove valid shortcuts.

But if you could specify the different type of scanning you wish to make in an INI-file and then clean all errors. and specify the INI-file as a parameter

Example:

MissingSharedDLLs=1

UnusedFileExtensions=1

ActiveXandClassIssues=0

.

.

.

.

1 if it is checked, and 0 unchecked.

wolfiee, welcome.

The C:\System Volume Information\_restore file that is infected and should be removed.

Disable System Restore then enable it to create a good Restore point:

Install prevention protection to help prevent re-infections of your system:

Download then install SpywareBlaster and keep it up to date at least once per month.

Install SiteAdvisor as it shows an an indicator of bad sites you are visiting:

http://www.siteadvisor.com

Install MVPS HOSTS file to block ad tracking cookies and many malware sites:

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Keep it up to date at least once per month.

Install ALL prevention protection recommended and keep them updated regularly by reading the announcements at Calendar of Updates
