1984
The Hobbit is an AWESOME book. I would suggest that you actually purchase it (it costs less than 10$). Its not a very long read, but it is THE book that started the whole fantasy fiction style of writing. It is the book that starts off the whole Lord of the Rings Trilogy and I cant say enough good about it. Being that it was written by Tolkien in 1937, it was way ahead of its time. I think i first read it when i was about 8, and have read it about 10 times since then. Im such a huge fan i have the cartoon, seen the play, have it on audio CD and even the lead figurines. I cant wait till the movie comes out!
zaphirer
I don't think the Hobbit is in public domain yet, if you find it now then it would be considered stealing.
TheFiresInTheSky
really? my friend got it from the library. the only problem is we would have to drive quite a ways to get to the nearest library. im not one for reading at all, i did just get the lord of the rings movies and have yet to watch them. Woody
im not one for reading at all, Well it's about time you started. I think The Hobbit is still in copyright so you are unlikely to find it freely available over the net. Getting it from a library is a different matter. It is never difficult to distinguish between a Scotsman with a grievance and a ray of sunshine. P. G. Wodehouse
