Sinibomb
I recently managed to uninstall some Adobe products which didn't prove easy. Now when I run CCleaner and go to 'Tools' > 'Startup', in the 'Windows Services' tab I have the entry 'AdobeUpdateService'. This does not exist on the computer and when I search regedit there is no registry entry for it. How is it still in this list and how would I remove it? Thanks in advance. Moderators Andavari Posted January 22 Moderators Share Posted January 22 It might instead be in Task Scheduler, some things that start at system boot can alternatively start from it. Edit: Then again it's possible to have null dead entries remain when for example uninstalling a program.
Sinibomb
Thanks! I found some old Adobe entries in the CareCenter folder within Task Scheduler and deleted them, it seems to have got rid of it.
