Do you mean that you want to cancel an automaticaly renewing subscription?

https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020674812-How-do-I-manage-my-CCleaner-subscription-#how-to-cancel-your-subscription--0-3

But:- if you can't see the option to 'Manage Subscription' in your CCleaner then you don't have an automatically renewing subscription.
In that case when you go to Options>Licence Key it should say there:
              "Auto Extension:         Disabled"
No payment will be taken automatically.
Instead when your licence is due for renewal you will get a billing notification, and will have to make a manual payment or your licence will expire.

That's odd, there should be a blue button with 'Gérer l'abonnement' there underneath 'Renouvellement automatique:'

What version of Windows do you have?
What version of CCleaner are you running?
(Older versions before v5.51 did not have that button, but you shouldn't be using an older version unless you have Windows XP or Vista).

If you have an up to date CCleaner then I'd do a reinstall to see if that puts the button there:

  1. Download the 'Slim' installer (3rd one down) from here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
  2. Double click the downloaded 'ccsetup613_slim.exe' to reinstall CCleaner.
(Don't uninstall the old one first, if you do that then you will need to enter your key again in the new install so make a note of it).
  3. See if you now have the blue ''Manage Subscription' button.

If that doesn't work then email support@ccleaner.com and explain your problem, that you don't have that button, they will be able to cancel your subscription for you.

  • 6 months later...

I had the same problem...

Thought it was a bit scammy at first but eventually found the solution in the email from CCleaner. (The email was in fact from noreply@cleverbridge.com)

To be fair to CCleaner, seems a good product in general but this drama to try and cancel your subscription seems a bit unnecessary and tarnishes an otherwise good product and experience.

Below are some screen shots that should hopefully help.

After clicking the 'Cancel' option on the webpage that the link takes you to, you should notice that your 'auto extension' in the application has been disabled. (Meaning you should have the Pro version until the end of the period but it won't auto renew.) -I'm sure we can expect to get an email from them nearer the time suggesting we stick with the Pro option at a more reduced cost or something ;-)

All the best!
