Then add those folders or filetypes (e.g. *.txt) to the program to be excluded from being deleted. - Perhaps you can solve this by unticking the proper "Wordpad" box in Ccleaner ? You save Wordpad documents if you want to keep them, if you haven't saved then when you close wordpad it asks if you want to save your work. If you close it without saving then the work is lost. So where are you saving your recipe, etc. files to that they are dissapearing from? CCleaner wouldn't normally remove wordpad files unless they are saved in a location where they shouldn't really be saved. Or perhaps Wordpad uses shortcuts to point to those files and then CCleaner removes those shortcuts (from e.g. "Recent files) ? So, the files themsleves could be still there.
