Moderators nukecad Posted March 31, 2023 Moderators Share Posted March 31, 2023 Related posts merged. It is not a good idea to have files that you want to keep in the recycle bin, - a bin is for rubbish not for things that you want to keep. Health Check will always empty the recycle bin. But you can set it so only files that have been in the bin for more than 24 hours will be cleared. The setting is in Options>Advanced. The ticks/unticks in the Custom Clean lists are for Custom Clean only, they do not affect what Health Check does. If you don't want the bin to be emptied then use Custom Clean and not Health Check. You can set Custom Clean to be the default that CCleaner shows you. Go to Options>Settings>CCleaner Home Screen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To try and recover deleted files then you need to use a recovery tool such as Recuva, the Free version is all you need. Chances of sucessful recovery will depend on how much you have used the computer since deleting the files. It will also depend on what type of disc drive it is, how it is formatted, etc.https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'?
