Recently opened files/folders not cleaned

For the past few days, CCleaner has stopped removing the recently opened files from taskbar icons. I've already checked the Cleaner program  to clean Recent Documents, Temporary Files and the like, and the files list are still there. I think it's a bug.

No. The recent files in the Quick Access folder were cleaned just fine. The recently opened files from when you right-click the apps on the taskbar remains.

Windows keeps multiple different 'Recently used' lists for different places and different things.

In this case the 'recently used' list is the one for apps that are pinned to the Taskbar - so what you need to be clearing is 'Taskbar Jump Lists'.
