Correction. I had home depot saved.

Totallzero.com is a software developer, one of their products is Disable HTML5 Autoplay  (Reloaded) an extension for Google Chrome which I do use, but do not save their cookies.

Thanks. Andy

Despite their being in a folder called 'cookies' I don't believe that those 2 are cookies at all.

From the names they look more like logs that Total Zero has collected about user/usage statistics.

(Have you tried opening one of them in notepad to see if it contains anything intelligible?)

i did a test and, on my computer, after using the chrome browser to go to the "totallzero.com" website, ccleaner flagged the "stat.totallzero.com" cookies and removed them.

i could go to chrome's "see all cookies and site data" to verify that the "stat.totallzero.com" cookies had been removed.

That's not quite the same name as the ones shown in your first screenshot.

So are you saying that CCleaner has cleaned them now?

Sorry redwolfe_98, lack of attention on my part.

(I'm posting in between trying to fix a kitchen tap (faucet) and it's proving a pain to get the valve body out, as it often is. Given up for now, I'll take the whole tap off in a few days and get it in a vice where I can apply more force).

I ran some tests as well. 1st - Ran CCleaner and cleaned up everything, 2nd - opened up CNN.com, went to a video which was blocked, 3rd ran CCleaner analyze only and looked at the cookies, nothing there for Totallzero, 4th ran Superantispyware and the Totallzero cookies were there, 4th ran CCleaner and cleaned up everything just to check, wne t back to Superantispyware and they were still there. @ Redwolfe_98, do you have the Totallzero manually included?

@Nukecad, try using 3-in 1 drip penetrant and soak the cartridge for an hour or so, it probably has rust or corrosion built up.

I did some more checking, went through all my kept cookies list... and found stat.totallzero.com was in the list.

I have no idea how it got there, perhaps a senior moment?

Thank you all for your responses and I apologize for this wild goose chase.

Case closed.

Andy

Like I said in my post above we all have moments of inattention, at least you found it.

PS. Superantispyware has a different purpose than CCleaner so they will  each look for different things, although some will be the same.

PPS. It's by no means the first time I've fixed/changed a tap, this one has been give a dose of WD40 before I put the handle back on.
WD40 is not really recommended on a tap because if you don't clean it off afterwards it can degrade rubber seals over time, but as I'm going to be taking the ceramic cartridge apart (once I've got it out) to replace all the O-rings anyway that doesn't matter.
