Moderators Nergal Posted May 14, 2022 Moderators Share Posted May 14, 2022 Yes there is a known bug when it comes to identifying drive type. This seems to be especially so when the system has one ssd and one hdd. We are assured that a new version of defraggler is forthcoming but have, in all honesty, seen little movement toward this release. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. New versions of the home-use versions of Speccy and Recuva are being actively worked on. Defraggler has had updates for the business version (part of CCleaner Cloud). But the home-use version of Defraggler is our least-used product, so its future is under review. I've been using Defraggler for as long as I can remember. Another data point indicating I'm a harbinger of market failure I guess. :(
