I haven't this option either with other version of Opera. I think I'm doing something wrong but what? Opera and Emule are installed in partition D (C with WXPSP2, D programs, E movies, F music) Yesterday in the other pc, there was only one partition, C. TheFiresInTheSky
are you using the exact same version of opera and Ccleaner?

TheFiresInTheSky
didnt see your edited post there, Ccleaner doesnt clean other partitions. say you booted up with windows on partition G, it would only clean that partition.
Tarun
Opera and Emule are installed in partition D (C with WXPSP2, D programs, E movies, F music) Unfortunately, CCleaner does not span drives other than the default C. (Verifying this information...) Also, Opera 9 is now located in this directory: "C:\Program Files\Opera 9\Opera.exe"

TheFiresInTheSky
OK, but what about IE?It's in C and CCleaner in my pc is en D. it doesnt matter where its located, it matters what partition you have windows on and have booted up from. not sure on the other part. OK I understand what you say. I think it's a matter (I don't know how to say in english) for a new version so many people have "hd" with partitions (I don't know if it technical could be possible). Again thank you

Moderators Andavari Posted August 5, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2006 Just modify the winapp2.ini entry posted below in the code to where your Opera 9 is installed, e.g.; like changing the "%ProgramFiles%\Opera" to "%ProgramFiles%\Opera 9" and you'll have cleaning support. If you don't know what winapp2.ini is find out here. Seems like I keep having to post this over and over and over again. I have Opera installed in: D:\Navegadores\Opera So what do I have to change? Firefox is installed in D:\Navegadores\Firefox and CCleaner detected without problem. So I don't understand what is the problem with Opera.
JohnDemolition
instead of %ProgramFIles%, replace it with "D:\Navegadores\"

Moderators TwistedMetal Posted August 7, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2006 That entry cleans all. You will have to remove a line if you don't want to clean something. Selecting what to clean with check boxes is CCleaner programming. Nothing us users can do about that.
