It keeps deleting nonexisting things from Recycle Bin

My recycle bin shows empty.  I run ccleaner and it shows it deleted 4 files totaling 737,280 kb.  It's been doing it for a week.  If I rerun it immediately, it reports it deleted the same amount again.

What it shows as deleted are files in:  C:\$Recycle.Bin\ ...random characters...

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

That did it! quick and easy.  Thanks so much.

You know, I've used ccleaner for quite some years.  Any time a friend has trouble with their machine, I load it up and run it just to clean stuff up.

I'm not a fan of W10 even after giving it a chance.  I'm just getting too old.
