How to clean browsers without notification

Recommended Posts

When I close a browser I get a pop up box claiming my browser was cleaned when closed.  It is annoying and I would like to eliminate it.  Does anyone know how to do it?

Update-  I found what it was...clean browser without notification!!!

thanks

hello granadamike,

perhaps "smart cleaning" is activated

you can deactivate it:

ccleaner -> options -> smart cleaning -> disable both

note: if you do this, you must start ccleaner manually to clean your pc

Versions of CCleaner Cloud; Introduction Ccleaner Cloud;

Ccleaner-->System-Requirements; Ccleaner FAQ´s; Ccleaner builds; Scheduling Ccleaner Free

  • Dave CCleaner changed the title to How to clean browsers without notification
  • 1 month later...

To disable "browser cleaned" pop-up, go to Options, Smart Cleaning - then you will see a listing of browsers with a drop down list for each.  Click on the drop down list for each browser and choose "automatically clean on closing without notification."

It is unwise to uncheck Smart Cleaning, as it will not automatically clean your browser(s) and you will need to do it manually instead.  Kind of defeats the entire purpose of having professional version.
