Forum Issues on Internet Explorer...Just me? Need Fixing?

Hi-

I have a lot of issues using the forum on Internet Explorer.

1) I cannot quote anyone with the 'quote' buttons. It takes me to the reply box at the bottom of the thread but there is no quote there.

2) I cannot paste anything, be it an internet link or long text from the Wiki or something.

3) The images thing does not work at all. If I want to add a image, I click on the little "Add Image" icon, which opens the dialogue box. I type in the address of the image (cannot copy/paste it, it will not let me) and hit 'OK'....and nothing happens, and I cannot exit the dialogue box.

4) Polls do not work at all...I can fill it out fine but cannot add it anywhere.

Anyone else on internet explorer have these issues? Seems to work fine off my iPad. If so, can tanki fix them a bit?

pllzzz heeeelp me asaap ---- ii want staff to replyy mee asap they konw hw to help

I'm pretty sure polls are disabled on the forum, so that isn't a ie issue.

The others sound like issues with zone setup in your internet explorer, try to add forum.piriform.com to safe zone and see if there's any changes. Also try to either add or remove the domain from compatibility view (what windows are you using and what version of internet explorer?)

I don't understand what you mean by "is my english good"

What I wrote was a plain as I can put it.

Polls: I don't think they work at all for anybody.

Everything else you describe: sounds like your internet explorer settings are too strict. Go through them and you may find why this is occurring for you on this site. other than that piece of advice, I can think of nothing more, maybe somebody else can.

Ie = internet explorer

Issue = problem you are having.

I hope that helps clear my foggy words.

I have a lot of issues using the forum on Internet Explorer.

Try Firefox (or a clone of it), or Chrome (or a clone of it). I've never liked browsing this forum with Internet Explorer as it does things slightly different but more-over slightly annoying when compared to popular third party browsers.

I'm sorry but I have to insist that this topic remains focused on ccleaner. Perhaps, you can ask your question in the computer and software section
