glide
Is there a way to eliminate the pop up screen every time I log into my firefox browser the asks if I want to allow the CCleaner access to my computer? Thanks for any help.

glide
dvdbane I tried to get a screen shot but it doesn't happen all the time. I'll keep trying. hazelnut I Just checked and it was on so I turned it off to try it again. System monitoring is OFF (was ON) and active monitoring is ON. Would that cause the pop up on opening the browser? PS: It was the pop up that asks if I want to let CCleaner access my computer.
Moderators Nergal Posted July 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 26, 2015 Yes, either turn off monitoring completely or activate (in ccleaner settings > Advanced) SkipUAC ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
