charpsie
Received the following error message - volume for file externally altered. After scan, it shows the correct number of deleted picture files but cannot recover. Any suggestions? Did the deep scan also.
Moderators hazelnut Posted January 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 3, 2015 Is the drive you are trying to recover to NTFS? Do you have any backup or antivirus software running that could be interfering? Moderators Nergal Posted January 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 3, 2015 Are you attempting to recover to a drive that is also the drive the deleted file is on? ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
