afgzee
I seem to be running into an issue lately with CCleaner. I don't know ifi ts caused by the new IE 10.0.6 or new version of CCleaner. All the private data doesn't seem to be getting cleared, I have all the options selected like I did before but private data doesn't seem fully cleared. I close IE use ccleaner, and then open IE again and the previous links I clicked before are purple rather then blue meaning my history is still there, only way to clear history and private data fully is through IE. OS: Windows 7 Browser 10.0.6 ccleaner 4.03 (64 bit) I have no options checked off except last option wipe free space, and IE is not open while I use ccleaner. Moderators Augeas Posted July 6, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 6, 2013 There are two or three (or more) topics already open on this subject, just search for info. I'm sure Piriform are aware of this. You could revert to CC v4.01 until there is a fix.
Moderators Nergal Posted July 6, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 6, 2013 make sure you have ccleaner set to delete all temp files (options uncheck delete only older than 24 hours) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. innocentmani
i face the folowing problem.. Avast files not cleared while uninstall that program....
Moderators hazelnut Posted July 18, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 18, 2013 CCleaner only runs the Avast uninstaller. If all files were not removed it is because Avast did not uninstall all its own files try using the Avast clean up tool which is made to clear up things its uninstaller left behind http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
