Coolio10
Today i tried testing out a few different registry cleaners to see which would work best. Here are the rankings and list of programs i used. 1.Winaso Reg Cleaner 2.Tweaknow Reg cleaner 3.Tuneup Utilities 4.Abexo Sorry i didnt include ccleaner but they are payware so i didnt think it would be fair. I tried tuneup which used to be my regular and only found about 50 results. Used Tweaknow after it and it found around 300 which is average. After used abexo which found about 800 but i didnt delete because thought it was too much to be true. Now for the crazy one! I used Winaso reg cleaner after using tuneup utilities, tweaknow and it still found 2000+ invalid entries! Is this the utlimate reg cleaner or just all errors by the reg cleaner! I always have a safe backup before doing this by using Erunt and UBCD4WIN which will make registry fearers have no fear at all. I reccomend Tweaknow regcleaner for beginners and winaso for advanced & intermediate. A nice suite of applications is Tweaknow Powerpack with Erunt, NTREGOPT, CCleaner and UBCD4WIN(Recovery Disk)
Moderators Andavari Posted January 25, 2006 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2006 You have to be very careful using allot of registry cleaners because they'll actually find valid registry data.
