1984
Hey guys, quick, question for ya all. I seem to have frames disabled in firefox. Now when i do the about:config thing and go down to frames, it shows "true" which should mean that frames are enabled. But they aren't. The only thing I can think of is that some add on is disabling them. This is super annoying. I have a number of addons installed (adblock plus, wot, etc.) but not sure which ones could be affecting it. Any suggestions?
Moderators hazelnut Posted February 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 24, 2012 Try disabling adblock first. Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
Super Fast
I would say that Hazel would probably be right. But if worst came to worst, you could always try disabling them all (NOT uninstall, just disable), then re-enable them 1 by 1 to see which is the problem. Moderators DennisD Posted February 26, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 26, 2012 Try running Firefox in Safe Mode. It disables extensions, themes and custom settings. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-use-mozilla-firefox-in-safe-mode/ If the issue disappears, then it's an extension, theme or setting causing the problem. Do you have "No-Script" installed? ... it prevents clickjacking, blocks frames and iframes from untrusted domains and more I've never used it, so don't know how user configurable it is, but a setting may have been toggled? Has its "whitelist" been updated recently?
