Moderators Nergal Posted October 30, 2010 Moderators Share Posted October 30, 2010 Last version is to support win98 is v1.31.437 you can get it here v1.32.444 (30 Oct 2009) - Improved analysis of exFAT drives. - Added U3 portable installer. - GUI fixes for non-standard DPI (large fonts). - Improved error messages for files that cannot be overwritten. - Dropped support for Windows 98 to improve performance. - Fixed bug in language selection. - Minor bug fixes. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T. robfo
Thanks for response. That is the version I have now. I'm trying to get the option that I have in XP with most recent version that allows deleting from Recuva screen and from HDD location even those file names, shown in recuva screen, that and non-recoverable. Guess that's not possible in Win 98.
redhawk
Run the Windows 98 defragging tool and this should make deleted files unrecoverable / invisible. Richard S.
