Tigerllc74
Does anyone know a program that I can mark (like writing on a real map)and save ?? Another words...on paper map, I can mark and write locations (notes) and refer later. I want to do the same on computer. When I research an area or visit, I want to make notes on map so I will remember later. Any ideas?? Thanks, Tiger
Ishi
You can do a Google search on a "free mapping program". Take a look at this one I searched for you: http://www.mapmaker.com/ I love computer maintenance tasks. Some of my favorite programs: Wordpad -basic word processing Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE. Moderators Andavari Posted October 26, 2010 Moderators Share Posted October 26, 2010 1. Print Screen 2. Save as a bitmap since it's lossless 3. Using just about any paint program Microsoft Paint, Paint.NET, etc., you can type on the bitmap image.
Fluffy
Microsoft "Autoroute" allows you to make notes on maps and save journey details and routes ,might be worth a play with to see if that is what you need http://www.microsoft.com/uk/homepc/autoroute/trial.mspx Fluff
Tigerllc74
I did not mention in my question, but I am using Google Mymap. It does fair job marking my own location and notes, but I can only use marker on map and note in other place. It's better than nothing. I was hoping for something better. I am move on.
