defragger generates errors

defragger generates errors 68% into defrag, tells me to restart program but does it again.

quick defrag runs fine.

Can you add a bit more info please such as which operating system you are using etc.

 

Could you also run in debug mode and attach the log in a post

I downloaded Defraggler and cannot run because I get error message building file list failed. I have Defraggler on my desktop and when I click on it, I get....Degraggler is already running. I am sorry if this is not the place to ask this question but I can't find anyone else with this problem. There is one small other thing. This was touted as being free but I repeatedly get a page asking for donation when I download it. I would prefer not to donate until I see if a download is going to work and if I can get it downloaded, atually.

I don't remember ever getting hit for a donation on my download/upgrades. (Although it's been awhile since upgrading.)

You did a chkdsk to disk before defragmenting? Chkdsk Fixes errors in chkdsk files and free space. You should do a complete check disk.
