Artyom
While taking care of friend's computer, and found his disk full of files with .corrupt extension in this folder: %username%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles Files name was places.sqlite-123.corrupt Maybe it's worth adding such extension to CCleaner's target list, or is it possible to add manually? Aethec
Good idea. I had once more than 2500 .corrupt files in my Profile folder, and it reaaaaaally slowed down Firefox. Piriform French translator
JDPower
Interesting, I've never seen any of these files, what Windows/FF versions?
Moderators Andavari Posted December 22, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 22, 2009 Interesting, I've never seen any of these files The same for me, and I've used Firefox for a long time now. I wonder if it's some buggy FF addon causing it, and one way to find out if they keep reappearing is to disable all addons/themes then enable them one by one to see if it's caused by a particular addon/theme. And from a Google search this is about the only topic that discusses those corrupt files. Possibly bug report it to Mozilla too.

You could all post your extensions here and see if there's an extension or two common between all three of you
