Corona Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 My sis's pooter freezes at immediate startup. You know, the familiar black screen with big pixelated white words. It mentions Intel, Windows XP, etc., but the 3rd line says "COMPILATION OR DISASSEMBLY PROHIBITED". It won't load Windows XP. It just stays there. I tried F8 while rebooting but nothing. Any ideas? Corona Posted April 8, 2009 Author Share Posted April 8, 2009 Okay I figgered it out. XP validation. I suspect a grandchild went a-ga-ga with the keyboard & f-ed everything up. But I'm just guessing.
