Glad I ain't the only one, I just logged off and restarted the computer to see if that helped, it was starting to p### me off.

Why does typing a # start media player? I've never had that happen before.

*edit*

In case you wonder where the # bit and media player come from, it was when I typed p###, and media player kept opening.

Not here, so it's obviously an upstream problem.

Start, Run..., CMD

tracert -d forum.CCleaner.com > c:\trace.txt

*wait until the C: prompt returns*

*paste trace.txt here*

No spikes. MS should go up gradually, just like this list. If you get a few spots where request timed out, * * *, or the ms suddenly spikes real high, you've found an issue.

It won't... you just wait for it to spit out another C: line, and then you look at C:\trace.txt

Not a big leap. That's milliseconds you're talkin' about.

22ms to 1000+ ms would be almost a bad thing. Repeated 1000+ ms would be a very bad thing. 2000+ ms would be very bad.
