xxxxsh4d0wxxxx
Hey, I just tried to install Spywareblaster and when I tried to open the program, I came up with this strange error. Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. So I searched Google for 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' and download an installer from the Javacool website (makers of Spywareblaster), this however did not help. I tried a few installers and nothing worked. Anyone have any idea what to do?

xxxxsh4d0wxxxx
Sadly no, I tried a download from Javacool and MajorGeeks. It keeps saying that the file is missing, and then I decided to check for myself. I looked in c:/windows/system32, and sure enough there it was. It is quite strange I keep getting this error. The file is in the right place and it is registered.
Moderators hazelnut Posted June 20, 2007 Moderators Share Posted June 20, 2007 Did you see this on Javacool site? http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=5169 Did you see a message such as the one shown on this page when you registered it? (Note there is a space after regsvr32 and the rest of the text. Also just use the download for the exact file not the library) http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/suppo...me=MSCOMCTL.OCX Support contact https://support.ccleaner.com/s/contact-form?language=en_US&form=general or support@ccleaner.com
