Yay, fixed it.

Meh.. I've also come to this conclusion: Computer works --> Works with other games --> only crashes with Call of Duty 2 --> Problem between the game and the card.. not the card itself. I'm sure I'll find a solution sooner or later, lol.

Right now I'm checking for drivers for my motherboard.. thinking maybe they came out with updates? It's worth a shot I guess

I can't see this card being broken. It is seriously brand new. I know it's got to be something with Call of Duty 2.. like I'll play and it will either freeze, or the monitor will go black. I tried Call of Duty forums.. and no one seems to have an answer either. ..And yes, I know what and what not to delete. I could go through it manually.. but that would take God knows how long.

He doesn't have an AGP slot. I'm going to get my old card back this weekend. I just figured maybe the old drivers were installed, or the registry had been messed up. Either way, CCleaner came up with no errors for the registry.. then I downloaded TweakNow RegCleaner, and It found like 15 objects. I know there is more, I just need a cleaner to get them. I really don't get how a card could be faulty.. I mean I looked at it and it looks brand new, which it probably is.. so I'm not too sure.

I'm starting to wonder if my computer still has old drivers on it from my video card, or if my registry is corrupted/ filled with junk. Could anyone supply me with a driver cleaner and a registry cleaner. Ones that work good would be cool. Thanks

Yeah, that deletes it.. but as soon as you go to choose a name.. they're all back. ..It's horrible.. *cringes* My AIM takes so long to start with all these names

I am the only one who uses AIM on my computer. Recently I had a huge party and so tons people used AIM. Now I have about 50 names on my recent logins. How can I get rid of these to where my screen name is the only one left. I have the newest AIM.. I believe its Triton 6.0.

Yup, I have all that done. Well if my own step brother gave me a faulty card.. I'll probably take my card back and push his computer off the desk. In the mean time, I'll be looking for a solution.

I forgot to mention, it only happens while playing Call of Duty 2

While I'm playing Call of Duty 2 it will randomly freeze, and because it's multiplayer Activision won't help. Has anyone here had the same problem.. or does anyone know a solution? EDIT: This might be in the wrong forum (I just noticed it might).. sorry.

Still can't figure out what the problem is.

I have an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+ 2.21GHz, 1.25GB of RAM. It played excellent on the RADEON 9200 (PCI) and this a RADEON 9600 PRO (AGP) which I know is faster.

When I start my computer, in between the time its at the boot screen (with the windows icon and the loading bar) and the login screen my computer blacks out in between and it says something to the nature of.. "Power saving enabler will allow the monitor to shut off in a few seconds". I don't even have that feature enabled in the first place. I was wondering if anyone had this same problem or knows how to fix it. EDIT: Yes I could go back and try to read it, but it's so quick.. and I don't want to restart my computer 500 times to get it, lol. Thanks

How come the splash screen doesn't come up when Windows XP starts?

Alright, so I got the deal.

My step-brother just traded me a RADEON 9200 (PCI) video card for a RADEON 9600 PRO (AGP slot I believe it's called) .. I'm assuming the 9600 is better, just to clarify, is it? Make it more simple.. that story is hard to tell what I got, lol I gave him the 9200, he gave the the 9600.
