  1. I know this is an old topic but its relavant to my query. I use Office 2003, 2000 as never been installed but it shows Office 2003 and Office 97 in Applications.

    Speccy not shown

Yes I've done a few tests. I uninstall IE8 which put back IE7. Speccy doesn't show in any forum style. I installed IE8 again and Speccy only shows in Piriform 2009 style as you say Hazel. So I will leave a link in here so other users that don't use IE8 can find it. I think these should be a pinned topic in this forum with a link to Speccy else users may not know it exists. I wouldn't have know about it if I didn't have my laptop. I haven't found any advantages to IE8 apart from seeing Speccy. I'm not installing FireFox or Opera, I've tried them and I don't like them. Speccy
  3. Well Speccy appears to work ok on my 2 systems. The only difference is it doesn't show processor speed on the XP machine but it does on Vista. Everything shows pretty quickly as well. There are other free apps you can download but I won't mension those on here else I will be in trouble.
  4. I don't think so Dennis. I've tried all the themes and colours and its still blue (I thought it was grey) pics attached. Just the same as your Dennis which it totally difference to how it used to show.
  5. No my picture is different to Dennis's at least his is blue mine is all white with a grey area for used space. If your saying its a bug then its a bug with Defraggler. I've tried the 1.15.163 on 3 or 4 different computers and they all show the same bland pie chart. If you change back to 1.14.159 it shows as it should. I'll try and post a pic when I get home. I'm not threatening anyone I'm just saying I don't like the new version so I'm not using it.
  6. On the latest version I only see a white circle with a grey section for used space on both XP and Vista. I'm deadly serious Mike I'm not using it.

Thats ok Hazel I didn't notice the Speccy forum until I had posted. I'm afraid the forum style makes no difference to my XP. The main links only show on Piriform style and the Speccy doesn't show but it does on my Vista. I'm not sure if IE8.0 makes the difference?

    Log Report

Yes I agree with kimsland a saved log file would be ideal. Even the Speccy file is unreadable.

Hi Guys/gals. On my Vista laptop there is a link to Speccy next to CCleaner, Defraggler and Recuva but on My WinXP it doesn't show it. Now I've downloaded it to try and it works perfectly on both systems. I've changed to all the 3 forum styles and only 1 shows the other 3 apps. As anyone else noticed this? Speccy work very good. I see we have a Speccy forum but no link.
  10. Well thats providing you want the same settings for all users. Just tick Save all settings to INI file in Options\Advanced then everyone will use the same settings.
  11. I don't think its a matter of time its a matter on how bad it is. If you just Analyze it will tell you the percentage. Anything more that 10% and it needs defragging to me.
  12. Welcome to Pirifom Ovation. Im afraid I don't use Outlook I use Outlook Express and its never stopped me from sending or recieving emails. Check your options are set correctly. I can login to my bank ok. Can you please tell us your operating system with service packs and your web browser(s)?
  13. Hi Dennis thanks for the welcome. I know what the colour represents but you have to think, is the grey used space. My suggestion would be to go back to the old pie chart with colour. I just wondered why MrG has changed it? Not to save a few bytes surely?
  14. I've been using Defraggler for a while and its always worked great. However I don't like the new disk space usage pie chart it has no colour. What was the advantage of using no colours? Sorry but I won't use 1.15.163 until its changed back.
