  1. Exactly. I have a custom WinApp2.ini with only the entry's that apply to the programs i have. I would never use the full WinApp2.ini. Wouldn't make sense. I use the full WinApp2.ini as a sort of reference library.
  2. I thought so. I already changed mine to %ProgramFiles%.
  3. I install(&re-install) freemake video converter, and freemake audio converter in the default locations, and never had any issues. Though, i do a clean un-install of both programs when i install new version. Shouldn't Freemake Audio Converter have the % in the DetectFile line like Freemake Video Converter does? Shouldn't it be DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%, not DetectFile=C:\Program Files?
  4. The new version of ccleaner is still doing this. If you have duplicate files with the same file name, ccleaner displays incorrect results for what was cleaned in the recycle bin. If you hit analysis, it shows correctly how many files that are in the recycle bin, and what will be cleaned. But when you actually clean them, the displayed results of what was cleaned is wrong.
  5. Update: Dam, still not right. When you delete duplicate files, it only counts one of the files in the results after you use Ccleaner. Went back to version 3.10.1525, and it works great. Sure hope they get this fixed soon.
  6. I just did, thanks. Works Great now. Thank you.
  7. I narrowed this down. When it displays what was deleted, it eliminates duplicates on certain file types.
  8. I deleted three files to the recycle bin. When i analyze with ccleaner it displays correctly the three files. Then when i actually run ccleaner , and empty the recycle bin the results afterwords display that only one file was deleted. So Weird. winxp sp3
  9. I see another guy(in some other topic) saying he sees the health tab for a second when he starts defraggler, and then it disappears. Mine is doing that also.
  10. I was just about to report this. The analysis phase takes forever now. It use to take like 10 seconds and now its like 50 seconds.
  11. For the newer one it does. I dont have speccy on my older PC. I'll have to install it on there and report back.
  12. I have defraggler installed on two computers. One is on an older winXPSP3, and the other one on a newer WinXPSP3. The newer one shows the drive health status, and the older PC doesn't. The old PC doesn't even have the drive health tab at all.
  13. I made some entry's for some AnvSoft Products. [AnvSoft*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\AnvSoft Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any Audio Converter|*.* FileKey2=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any DVD Converter Professional|*.* FileKey3=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any Video Converter|*.* [AnvSoft(Logs)*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\AnvSoft Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any Audio Converter|*.log FileKey2=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any DVD Converter Professional|*.log FileKey3=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any Video Converter|*.log [AnvSoft(Database)*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\AnvSoft Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any Audio Converter|*.db FileKey2=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any DVD Converter Professional|*.db FileKey3=%AppData%\AnvSoft\Any Video Converter|*.db The first one deletes everything, the second one deletes just the logs, and the lasts gets rid of the database. ***Warning*** deleting the database slows the programs(adds a few seconds) load time, as it has to rebuild the database.
  14. So whats the scoop guys?? Delete or not delete?
  15. Oh, ok. I know they're under LangSecRef 3026, but for a better flow for all the entrys before and after, if Mozilla Firefox was added to the names? (i.e. Mozilla Firefox Crash Reports, Mozilla Firefox Dump Files) Also, shouldn't Octoshape and Opera More* be with the O's? [Octoshape*] LangSecRef=3023 DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Octoshape\Octoshape Streaming Services Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Octoshape\Octoshape Streaming Services\temp|*.* [Opera More*] LangSecRef=3027 Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Opera Software Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Opera\Opera\icons|*.*|REMOVESELF FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\Opera\Opera\thumbnails|*.*|REMOVESELF FileKey3=%LocalAppData%\Opera\Opera\vps|*.*|REMOVESELF FileKey4=%LocalAppData%\Opera\Opera\temporary_downloads|*.*|REMOVESELF [Cached Fonts*] LangSecRef=3025 Default=False FileKey1=%WinDir%\System32|FNTCACHE.DAT [Cached GDI+ Fonts*] LangSecRef=3025 Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%|GDIPFONTCACHEV1.DAT [Cached WPF Fonts*] LangSecRef=3025 DetectFile=%windir%\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local Default=False FileKey1=%windir%\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local|FontCache3.0.0.0.dat [Crash Reports*] LangSecRef=3026 DetectFile=%AppData%\Mozilla\FireFox\Crash Reports\ Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Mozilla\FireFox\Crash Reports\pending|*.* FileKey2=%AppData%\Mozilla\FireFox\Crash Reports\submitted|*.* FileKey3=%AppData%\Mozilla\FireFox\Crash Reports|*.* [Dump Files*] LangSecRef=3026 DetectFile=%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Mozilla|*.dmp|RECURSE [Firefox Updates*] LangSecRef=3026 DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Mozilla\Firefox Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\updates|*.log [Minefield Updates*] LangSecRef=3026 DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\minefield Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\minefield\updates|*.log
  16. I see [adobe flashplayer more*] was removed from Winapp2. Shouldn't these be removed anymore?: C:\Documents and Settings\Kerry Kastelic\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects C:\Documents and Settings\Kerry Kastelic\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys Also right after [Opera More*] in Winapp2.ini, it gets out of order chronologically. Goes from O's back to C listings.
  17. Why would you want to delete files in your back-up folders, that contain back-ups of your registry cleaning?
  18. It does on my system. A copy of the License.xbin is in the backup folder.
  19. Go to options and select include. Click on add and use the drive or folder option. Hit browse and find your new location of the cache folder and select it. Where it says options select "include files and subfolders". Then hit ok. If you haven't done so already check mark "custom files and folders" in the advanced section.
  20. Cool, glad it's not only me. Probably will be fixed next build?
  21. That would be me. Glad to see its not only me. Looks like an XP only problem? Thought it might have been a bad install or something.
  22. Not just for a cosmetic issue, thought this maybe a sign of something else wrong?
  23. I guess no one cares about this? Went back to version 2.0.5 and its fixed.
  24. I noticed a little user interface glitch or bug? Some of the Parenthesis aren't being displayed right. See below: Anybody else getting this?? No biggie, just makes the UI look sloppy.
