All I can say cowboy is when I open the mail tab under internet accounts, I only have one listed. Those instructions look good on Andavari's link.

I use opera 99% of the time although I keep IE7 as my default.
What I didn't realise is that bookmarks, or favourites as some people call them, when added in opera are not shown when I use IE.

Hey all! When I first started really surfing the net, i started using the name "lordoftheweb" as a kind of joke (since i love lordoftherings, and knew/know nothing about computers).
but now i wanted to change it to something more interesting to me, so i am now using "1984" as my name.
Just glad you're still around

Cowboy is perfectly correct spinwash it is a false positve, there even was a thread about it yesterday.

P.S. welcome to the forum spinwash

Why do you keep posting threads about f-secure? You have already posted today
http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showto...amp;#entry56169
quoting a thread that is over 1 year old so you could mention f-secure.

@Hazelnut
Where in the UK are you. Up here in Scotland it's been raining for about a week, (I'm sure I saw Noah floating by the window a few days ago ) and blowing a gale. I don't know what it's like to walk upright any more, constantly walking at a 45 degree angle.
I'm sure if it rains any more I'm going to end up with webbed feet and gills .
In West Yorkshire (see under avatar) where it has been wet and windy as in Scotland, but still I think you have to agree it's warm for December.
I feel a bit sorry for kids in the UK now, when I was a kid we were well versed in the art of building snow brick walls using our Dad's spades, we then made 100's of snowballs and piled them up and when they were nice, hard and icy we would have lethal snowball fights with the next street.
Ahhhh! those were the days!!!

Strange thing to do, quote a post over a year old.

Thanks for the info!
Can anyone give me a basic rundown how to use HostsMan? I've been reading it's site, but I'm kind of at a loss here...
This thread here is where I found out about and downloaded the hosts file.

It's unseasonably warm over here in the UK. In fact the spring daffodils and snowdrops are just starting to push through the ground.

You aren't the only one who feels like this about netzero Cowboy, or gets kicked off or freezes

Just how long do these holidays last?
I thought Thanksgiving was just a weekend?
I will have just 2 days off for xmas, and 1 day for new year, and NONE up until then!!

Given that there have been no updates for just over a year now, is this app still worth keeping?
I already have avg antispy, superantisyware, spywareblaster and spybot.

Please post a hijackthis log in the part of the forum that deals with the analysis of them. Instuctions on how to do a log are here

See this very old thread here,
http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=5824
Stopzilla has already been mentioned on the forum again here this month for this.
Also when I went to the stopzilla site to contact someone my browser opera said that Stopzilla use an short public encryption key which is considered insecure. Strange for a security application.

The latest version does NOT contain spyware however some virus/malware programs have detected false postives in the installer.
Can you post what was supposed to have been found, and what found it.
Also where you downloaded from.
Welcome to the forum by the way

Also see here under folders on kelly's korner fixes, apparently windows only remembers 400 folder views then things start to go wrong.
-
Just had a look at my folder options and I have "show hidden files and folders" selected- no problem.
What is your operating system?
Show hidden files and folders does not work for you, have you had any viruses or malware lately? All scans okay? Any other problems?
P.S Welcome to the forum

Vigron, you can always go to add and remove programs in your control panel and uninstall the yahoo toolbar from there.
-
Welcome to the forum Vigron
You must be using the standard build, use the slim build from here, it has no toolbar

Hello etard and welcome to the forum.
CCleaner is not for getting rid of viruses or popups.
To get help with your problem, do a hijackthis log and post it in the hijackthis log analysis part of the forum.
Instructions on how to do one are here

Thank you John, I now have rk launcher set up and moved. Sometimes it would be nice if just a few instuctions were there on the download page.
Still I don't mind making myself look an idiot by asking !!
