steppingstone
hello, I ran CCleaner a little while ago and the frequently used programs on my start menu are gone. The ones that are pinned to the start menu are still there, but even the divider is gone. I've started a couple program several times to try to get it to list but it doesn't seem it will. I'm using windows xp pro sp2 in the xp view. I've gone though the properties pop up and looked on several pages for help already and can't find this problem anywhere. can anyone help me? thanks steppingstone HAHAHA IT JUST FIXED ITSELF THANKS ANYWAY

steppingstone
What was the fix then? You never know it may help another user if you post it ok, anyone know which option I checked that did it? the fix must have happened when I opened CCleaner for the 8th time instead of the 7th. or was it the 7th instead of the 6th? anyway I must have been 1 time of opening it short of the number that it needed to make it to "frequent status" and the list. JDPower
ok, anyone know which option I checked that did it?. Its the 'User Assist History' box in the advanced section of CCleaner. You shouldn't really have any of the advanced boxes ticked unless you know what you're doing. Have a read of the CCleaner Beginners guide for more info: http://www.internetrotsyourbrain.com/ccleanerbeginnersguide/
