XanaTos112
hey today i noticed that my VLC and windows media player wont seem to play video files.if i had to guess why,its probably because i recently installed Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools.ive tried reinstalling VLC and still wont work.when i double click a video file, the thing pops up like its gonna play, but then it goes down again and im just left with the play, pause, stop, volume buttons. when i try play videos on WMP,loads of weird green stuff pops up,cant see the screen, and it wont play, although im getting audio in WMP and VLC does anybody know why this happened?has it happened to u?any idea how to fix it Who watches The Watchmen? Humpty
Maybe you could go into the options of either player and set one as default to play all the codecs it is able to and see how it goes. Never had a similar prob as I only use WMP 10.If it can't play it, I don't watch it.

MajoMo
Daemon Tools is installed with WhenU'Adware. Perhaps the stuff pops up came from that.
