SaiyaMel
I have iolo System Mechanic..it is about the only program i know of that gives you the option to relocate applications from its original installed directory on drive C,, to another hardrive to free some hardisk space. however, SM takes literally days to scan through my whole dang system searching for any associated components, in preparation to move a selected application to its new destination. Are there any alternatives that i can use that have the same feature? it doesn't have to be freeware..
Moderators Andavari Posted January 15, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2007 I don't know of any apps that do that, actually I didn't known SM did that. Why not just uninstall the apps, then install them on that other drive/partition since SM is taking so long.

Moderators Andavari Posted January 16, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2007 The same way you'd install a program normally, instead of using C:\Program Files use the other drive for the installation path such as; G:\Apps
