marquee
i downloaded the newest version of Ccleaner because I have always been a fan of CCleaner ever since v.1.31. So when I installed the newest version, after I rebooted, I started to use CCleaner but it won't start!!!!! and my Windows Media Player 11 freezes regularly and i tell you, my computer doesn't freeze that easily. Im running a 3.0 ghz Pentium 4, with 80 GB harddisk and 700MB memory. Please help me! But when I uninstalled CCleaner, everything works fine again.. TheFiresInTheSky
Welcome to the forums marquee This is very odd, just the fact that CC being installed is freezing WMP. Try installing, rebooting, then running Ccleaner in Safe Mode. You are running XP home, right? -aaron

marquee
there's still issues here... Im running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 Intel ® Pentium ® 4 CPU 3.00Ghz 3.01Ghz, 768 MB of RAM Its working = yes. But if i'm running WMP11 with CCleaner, both freeze for a while but continues moments later.
Moderators Andavari Posted December 29, 2006 Moderators Share Posted December 29, 2006 Its working = yes. But if i'm running WMP11 with CCleaner, both freeze for a while but continues moments later. Perhaps a shared DLL issue? Then again WMP will load Internet content automatically into IE's Temporary Internet Files everytime you run it unless you disable online content in the Privacy Settings of WMP11 so perhaps CC is having to deal with IE's cache which is causing a slowdown - this is of course just a whim of speculation.
