BCcure Posted October 21, 2006 Share Posted October 21, 2006 Some people have a problem with installing or downloading 'CC'. Believe me, the problem is not 'CC'! You have to download it from the official site (this one), and not from a pop up that suddenly gets your attention! Iff you still have problems with installing or download 'CC' maybe your pc is allready infected with more agressive spyware or virus problems. You should not blame 'CC' for this. Talking about myself, i use 'CC' and never had problems. SOME TIPS; TIP1-: scan for problems and fix them, after you fixed, scan again until 'CC' tells you that no problems are found. TIP2-: open 'CC', choose 'options', 'settings', Click the 'secure file deletion' it deletes every history files 7 times (NSA), its a standard. Iff you have questions or also TIPS. Please just do it. In this fine and easy to use safety tool you can choose the option to overwhrite files 35 times 'gutmann'. It is time consuming but perfect! PS; more tips soon. Overwriting anything 35 times is overkill. Eraser is brilliant but there's no need to do anything that many times! A 4 pass PRNG will normally do, unless you are protecting state secrets!
