Moderators Nergal Posted May 24 Moderators Share Posted May 24 The first image, on the left, seems to be an illegitimate source for CCleaner and with it not being oficial I'd stay far from it. But i don't understand what you mean is it correct? The version released today is 6.24.11060 ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. The version released today is 6.24.11060 If you click the "View Privacy Policy (Last updated 7/14/2022)" link at the bottom of the "Check for updates" window, it takes you to a web page that says it was updated in February 2024. I'm not sure if the February 2024 date means that's when the CCleaner was updated in general, or if that's for one specific version. My install was downloaded from CCleaner's official site, and it shows the same date as OP's image on the right.

Probably means the privacy terms had changed in February and they never changed the date in the program. Leterel
Sorry, I didn't expect so many replies in such a short time-span. So did I get this straight? Something is a little of and it's a minor "bug"?

Something is a little of and it's a minor "bug"? Not really a bug, just a code line wasn't updated in February when the privacy terms were actually updated. Program should work fine. It's just cosmetic (though something that for legal purposes needs fixing). ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.
