  1. I understand the difference between plugins and extensions, but previous versions of CCleaner show both. It was a nice way to make sure there wasn't anything unwanted installed before running a browser.
  2. CCleaner v5.67.7763 Chrome shows no browser plugins at all, and Firefox only shows Windvine and OpenH264 Video Codec plugins.
  3. If you prefer to use Gmail or other Google sites without signing in to the Chrome browser itself, then there's an option to do so. If you stay signed into Chrome, then you're probably outta luck. Chrome Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security > Allow Chrome sign-in (By turning this off, you can sign in to Google sites like Gmail without signing in to Chrome.) Hope that helps. I never sign in to Chrome or sync anything, and I always run CCleaner after browsing/checking Gmail.
  4. CCleaner wipes the new version of Facebook Messenger for Windows 10 and you have to sign back in every time.
  5. I don't get the prompt to install Avast because I have an internet security suite that has the options to: - "Automatically clear check boxes to install additional software & warn of attempts to install additional progs" - "Don't show installation steps that may contain adverts & offers for additional apps" Is it possible you have something similar that didn't fully work with the newest version of the CCleaner installer?
  6. CCleaner v5.44.6575 crashes when running Disk Analyser if I have the "Everything" box checked. If I have all the options checked, but disable the "Everything" box, it completes normally.
