Closing down Edge

Recommended Posts

I see resetting to default is the easiest way to go to get Custom Clean to get back to asking to close Edge.  Is there a way to save the cookies that have been saved?

Yes there is.

In CCleaner go to Options>Cookies and right-click anywhere on the 'Cookies to Keep' list, the list on the right.
You will get a context menu with an option to 'Export' - which writes the full list as a text file (cookies.txt) that you save.
When you are ready to put them back then it's the same, right-click in the (empty) list and 'Import' the textfile.

The same 'Cookies to Keep'  list is used by both Health Check and Custom Clean.

PS. It's often worth right-clicking things in any app, mostly nothing happens but you'll sometimes/often get a context menu with extra options like that.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:
