finlander
When CCleaner scans for out-of-date drivers, is it also scanning for missing drivers? Thank you.
finlander
really great forum you've got here, haha. If the public is completely absent in answering questions here, then your employees should be jumping in and answering them.
Moderators Nergal Posted October 17, 2023 Moderators Share Posted October 17, 2023 Personally i didn't answer because i don't use driver updater. I was against its addition, i find it (and all driver "updaters") dangerous. It is blind to build, so if you have a driver on windows 10 saying there's a update but, in reality, it is a driver for win11. I have no unknown drivers so have no way of testing your question. I assume most USERS feel the same as me. Ccleaner employees have rarely interacted with the forum, every so often they send some helpers, but they usually fade after 6 months or a year and things go back to us USERS having to answer questions, or not be able to as in your case. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
