some questions about ssd defraggler

It should be fine.

A zero fill only writes zeros to the empty space on the drive which will not harm it at all, drives are meant to have things written to them.

If you have paused/stopped the optimisation then just close Defraggler.

PS. Windows will automatically optimise your SSDs itself, I'd just let it do that and not use Defraggler with SSDs.

Thank you for your answers.Ok,what it meas is that the uncomplished zerofill or the complished zerofill doens not do harm to the ssd, right? And more, can  the method improve the speed of ssd?

No, you should not be running a zero fill on an SSD with TRIM, as it will waste write cycles and achieve nothing. Zero fill was intended for older SSD's.  Windows Optimiser (the new name for Windiws defragger) will keep your SSD in good condition automatically.

Neither TRIM nor zero fill will speed up your SSD. From my experience SSD's gradually seem to get slower...

No it will not increase the speed of the SSD in any way at all.

It is unnecessary, but it will not unduly harm a SSD if it is done - unless it is done many times because each time will use up a full write cycle.

A few times by mistake is not a problem, but doing it regularly will shorten the lifetime of the SSD.

SSDs look after themselves they have built in software to do that, with a little help from the Operating System (Windows).

You have no need to Optimise (or Defragment) an SSD yourself.

Okay, I have another question, will the defragmenter have no other impact besides increasing the read and write volume on SSD? Also, the greater wear here refers to increasing the amount of writing to the hard drive and consuming the writing cycle? Is there no other wear and tear? Also, if the optimization is cancelled midway, will there be an optimization record? Please forgive me for all these questions. I'm a bit worried about my computer. I hope you can give me an answer.

Your SSD wil be fine.

You have not damaged it by using Defraggler or by stopping Defraggler mid way through.

It has just used a tiny bit of the life cycle of the drive.

Like taking one drop of water out of a lake. You would need to do it many times to make any difference.

No, using Defraggler on your SSD has not done anything to affect how your drive performs.

I don't know how many times we can tell you the same thing?
