Reinstalling Windows License Question

Recommended Posts

Looking at getting the yearly full version of CCleaner having used the basic for years now but was curious, If I reinstall Windows will I have to buy a new license for CCleaner Pro considering on the page it says "1 PC" which could mean 1 use per Windows install or does it just mean only 1 license can be active at any given time ?

I ask as I do fresh installs of Windows every few months to blow out the cobwebs.

Any info is appreciated :)

One at a time is fine, and reinstalls of Windows are fine.

As long as CCleaner is being reinstalled on the same machine it isn't a problem, as mods here we probably do it more than most when trying to replicate a problem and then afterwards reinstalling CCleaner as we want it.

If a licence key keeps getting installed on different machines, even if one at once, then that will be looked at. It's a sign you may be a technician cleaning other peoples machines so you should have a CCleaner business licence.

Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? See this link:
