CCleaner logging me out of Adobe and Skype programs

I have an Adobe account with programs like Acrobat etc installed on my Windows 10 PC.  These programs need to stay logged in to be usable.

Likewise, I also use the Skype desktop app, which also needs to be logged in to usable.

When I run CCleaner Custom Clean, it always logs me out of these programs.

I should mention that Adobe Acrobat Reader, Adobe Reader DC and Skype for Desktop are all unchecked in the "applications" section of the custom clean screen.

I assume CCleaner is deleting the relevant cookies for Adobe and Skype, but the thing is, these cookies don't show up at all in the "cookies on computer" section.  So I can't add anything to the "cookies to keep" section.

I do actually know what cookies Adobe sets (which it seems to do via IE), but there's no way I can manually add these to the "cookies to keep" section unless they're already on my computer.  I have also unchecked "cookies" under IE in the custom clean screen, but this doesn't change anything.

So my question is:  how do I stop CCleaner from logging me out of accounts like Adobe and Skype that are accessed via their own programs rather than via a browser?

Thanks for your help

Jay

I'm not sure that the issue is with cookies to keep, but as you know the names then you can add them to the list in the following way;

Righ click the white space anywhere in the 'keep' side and in the menu that pops up select 'Add', that will bring up a box where you can manually enter the cookie(s) you want to keep.

Thanks nukecad - that seemed to do it for Adobe.  By the look of things, Skype was just logging out because that's what Skype does.  So all the issues on the CCleaner side of things have been resolved.

If anyone from Piriform is paying attention: it's worth mentioning that it is not obvious in any way that cookies can be added by right clicking (no "add" button or menu on the screen - only the option hidden in the right click).

Also, there is absolutely no mention of the ability to add cookies (other than those already on the machine) in any of the documentation.  In fact, the documentation specifically only mentions clicking existing cookies over to the "keep" side.

So if the program itself was more intuitive or the documentation was better, it would cut down the need for entire threads like this.

I know what you mean, it's something we usually learn early on, if there isn't an obvious big button to do something then try right clicking various places to see if a context menu will pop up.

You'll find it happens in a lot of apps not just CCleaner, rather than having too many buttons cluttering up the UI the developer uses a pop up context menu instead.

Jay Smith, would be so kind to let us know what cookies Adobe sets?

I am having the same problem.
