x9o9
Hi all I used CCleaner on an old computer harddrive to delete duplicate files. However, I think I misconfigured the settings during this process and ended up deleting important files. I want to get the files back if possible. Is it possible to use CCleaner to undo the deletion operation? I believe I still have the deletion logs. If not, could I use Recuva? I believe the files that got deleted number in around 200 GB (some I want to keep, some I do not, it would be way too time consuming to do it by hand). Is it possible to undelete EVERYTHING on the hard drive so I don't have to go through it by hand? Thanks for reading and commenting!

Yes but depending on many factors (such as how much has been written to the drive since and what type of files (movies are extremely tricky)) not all files will survive the restore. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
