DebbieR
Hi there! I was wondering if there is a way to stop the program updater from recognizing certain programs? I have last years version of Paint Shop Pro and I don't want the new one (yet) but CCleaner keeps trying to update it at every clean. It's not a huge deal to just go to that section and uncheck the program...but it would be better if I could uncheck it once and be done. Thanks for any help you can give! Moderators nukecad Posted February 18, 2021 Moderators Share Posted February 18, 2021 Health Check does it automatically but you can stop it as you know. You have to stop it everytime you run Health Check though, you can't change the Health Check default settings. (If you could change them then it would become just a different version of Custom Clean). If you change to using Custom Clean instead of Health Check then the Software Updater won't even run unless you run it yourself from Tools. You can set Custom Clean as the default when you open CCleaner by going to Options>Settings and changing the 'CCleaner Home Screen' *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? That will solve it for me! Thanks DebbieR
